Ok I use a Hp pavilion Notebook PC as a Portable Studio device for on the go recording.......when I turned on my laptop....the screen went white.........I reset it and it came on perfectly.......except nothing showed on the screen...it was as if it wasnt even on......what's wrong and how can I get it fixed?

Hello all ! i purchased a laptop off ebay and now im screwed. If I plug up my drive and look at some images then unplug my drive is there any way for someone to come behind me and see the same images I saw without copying them to the computer. I don't want them to be able to.

I have a hp laptop and latly It cannot play DVDs, I can play CDs, the problem is DVDs. the computer comes with an CD installer driver for DVds, I reinstalled and It didn't work either. Do you think it is a problem with thw computer itself?

When i plug my laptop into the internet it always has a very slow connection speed. The network connection i use is very fast (not sure exactly what it is) and others who are on the network get very fast connections. Are there possibly any setting i can change to make my connectio faster?

I recently added an external lacie firewire disk to my mac mini g4 and since then my mac seems to like to crash every few hours which is very annoying, the drive seems to ru quite warm so i have placed it away from the computer but that hasnt helped. Any clues on how to fix this from anyone are most welcome?
My computer is a basic 1.25Ghz G4 Mac mini with 512M of Ram and the hard drive is a lacie 250Gb firewire - it was the model that was designed to sit under the Mac Mini. I am currently booting Mac OS X.4.9 from the external drive.

i have downloaded the i data for the cd rom drive how do i install it so that the computer can identify it.

I have replaced the old drive with this new one so cause the old one didnt read disc no more. i already downloaded the data for it so what do i do with the data so the cdrom drive will work.

Hi! It seems that after the laptop has been on for a while (about 5 - 10 mins) you can no longer use the keyboard, Instead it's almost as though somone is leaning on the z or / key and you have to shut the machine down. There are no viruses or spyware, what could it be? Help is appreciated!

BTW: It has been to a computer repair shop, they say there's nothing wrong with the laptop. Is it possible that it doesn't act up in the shop?
