Hi! It seems that after the laptop has been on for a while (about 5 - 10 mins) you can no longer use the keyboard, Instead it's almost as though somone is leaning on the z or / key and you have to shut the machine down. There are no viruses or spyware, what could it be? Help is appreciated!

BTW: It has been to a computer repair shop, they say there's nothing wrong with the laptop. Is it possible that it doesn't act up in the shop?

satellite tv for pc isn't something greater beneficial than a popularity. It would not have something to do with the features of the laptop. the only income which you're able to have with a Toshiba over a Dell is the guaranty provider. With a Toshiba, they have provider facilities located everywhere in the rustic the place you are able to pass to get it serviced, you additionally can carry them to any superb purchase or Circuit city. Dells are mail order, so for the main area you would be able to desire to handle people over the telephone and get factors shipped to you.

My guess is that it is heat related. Possibly a short/break somewhere in the ribbon cable that connects your keyboard to the motherboard. And it only occurs after the laptop reaches a certain heat and the metal/bus/circuits (however described) inside the ribbon cable expands and separates. Only problem is, it'd take swapping in a new keyboard to test it out.

Only other thing I can suggest is to open up task manager when this happens (right-click on task bar at bottom and select Task Manager) and check your resources. See if either your processor is maxxed out or your memory usage is high. This is a strange one.
