Is there any way to clean the keyboard of laptop if some Tea/juice spills over that. My laptop is working fine but the keys have become somewhat hard to press.
Is there any lotion available in market for cleaning the same ?

How much does in cost, in USD, to scan an image at Kinkos or that place affiliated with OfficeMax?. Size of the image is 11x14, and I just need something like a 600 DPI scan. My flatbed isn't big enough and I'm not sure if I will be able to do it in sections yet.

With motherboard I had a softwear called PC alert. This PC alert displays 4 voltage: +12v, +5v, Vcore & 3.3v. Last one giving low alarm and becomes below 2.8v. Wher is the problem? Is it within the motherboard/processor/power unit?

i was thinking of buying vista for my laptop. my boyfriend bought it the day it came out and has just been raving about it. i was looking to buy it, but i don't know know if it can handle it.

anyway, in your opinion...

is it necessary or probable to buy the windows vista upgrade?

I got a Dell a few years ago, but for the past 1 - 1.5 years, the fan is incredebly loud. It's not hitting against anything, it's just circulating air really really fast.

I have 60% free space, eliminated useless background programs, defragged, cleared files, performed a virus/spyware scan and found nothing, and this thing is still going like I have 10000 programs running.

What's wrong with this peice of Dell junk?

Note: It's not loud at all when I start it up, only once I start a program, such as IE.

I was running a defrag program on a hard drive and accidentally copied some data to the hard drive at the same time. My computer completely froze before I had a chance to cancel it.

When I tried to turn my computer it wouldn't restart and just froze on the loading Windows 2000 screen after 8 bars showed up. I unplugged the hard drive and was surprised that the computer then started up fine. The reason I was surprised is the OS is not on that hard drive.

I then powered up my computer and plugged in the damaged hard drive to an external device so it shows up as an external drive. When I go to it I see it as having nothing at all (0 bytes free and 0 total).

What should my next step be in the morning? Should I run disk check, defrag, or anything else first? Or should I run a disc recovery program first?

Why is the US system for tvs different from most countries? I found the right tv for the right price for my beach house in Rio but the system is different there; PAL. My brother says that problably the tvs from US will work there now because of free trade. They also say that it's best to buy there because even if you fix it to make it work, it wont be as good...What to do??? Thank you for all the answers...peace..

My Dell laptop has been getting the "death screen" the past couple weeks if I have to many windows open, but it would just go away and restart. Today...different story. It starts over and it says...

Okay, so my sister dropped my Powerbook G4 causing half of the screen to go blank and not work! When I took it to the Apple store they said that the damage was pretty bad so it would cost me approximately $1,200 (but everything would be changed and fixed, including hd)!! I paid about $2000 for it a couple years ago. The computer works perfectly fine, except for the broken screen. They "Mac Genius" told me that even though it worked fine, it might take a while for it to start messing up. ITs been months now and its fine. Do you guys think it will really mess up later on?
I suppose what Im debating is whether to shell out $500 to fix the screen only or not? I dont wanna fix screen and then have computer not work?
Or should I just not do it and wait till it dies and buy another one?

I have been given a $900 budget to purchase a new laptop and my question is this: what is the best deal someone can find for me online? Here are my very basic stipulations:

I would like a dual-core laptop. I would like it to be equipped with Windows Vista, preferably Vista Home Premium.

I will be using the laptop mostly for fairly intensive web-surfing and downloading, playing online poker, listening to music and dvds. I play games occasionally, but the laptop does not need to be a "gaming" computer.

Please include shipping to Pennsylvania and tax in your calculations (I also live in the Delaware area, so if the laptop were located at say, Best Buy or Circuit City, I could pick it up in Delaware and avoid both of those problems as Delaware has no sales tax).

Finally, I would like this to be some kind of legit deal. Please don't include some sketchy site you found on Froogle offering $200 laptops.

I hear Mac users bragging about their computers all the time when compared to PCs, and I just don't see the appeal. So, really... what makes a Mac so brag-worthy? I've heard it said that they're more secure than PCs which I know for a fact is a load of bull: they get FEWER hacks, viruses, and whatnot only because they aren't as common as PCs. I'm looking at buying a new laptop/notebook in the next year or two, so I'm curious to know if anyone has a GOOD reason why I should buy a Mac over a PC.
