My White iBook is 4 years old and it doesn't have any stains or severe scars.
I simply clean it with a lint free cloth and a real mild cleanser.
They hold up pretty well in the real world.

The first iteration did have a few colour replacing problems with the palm leisure. This has been constant and has now not fairly been an quandary. Apple changed my my keyboard and the whole discipline surrounding it and the bezel across the monitor free of charge considering of the illness. Since then, it's been superb. The black one suggests smudges extra from arms, however you do not consider like you're going to get it soiled. The white isn't complicated to maintain blank, but it surely has that belief. The MacBook is a first-class laptop. I have 2 :)
