Hay was wondering what the difference is between the SATA hard drive and RAID? any help would be useful

SATA is a type of connection for a hard drive, like IDE was the old type. RAID is a way of configuring a group of hard drives together. You can put a group of SATA hard drives into a RAID configuration for example. If you want more info on either, take a look at the links provided.

I have no idea, as far as i know, the hard drive im using is a maxtor. so yeah.
