I want a new moniter for my desktop. I'm not looking for a flat screen tv. just a nice flatscreen moniter with DVI inputs. do moniters even come with those inputs? i'm not sure cause i've never seen one personally.

Yes the newer Monitors and Newer TVs have DIV inputs or HUD input connectors, they are white and square looking, the high resolution on most newer TVs are 1080i P this means that the monitor will have a resolution of 1080 dots the width and height, or 1080x1080=116400 dots per square inch, that is a rough guess some are more some are less, get a LCD screen cause the plasma screens have problems with the liquid and needs to be changed after 2 or 3 years. Shop around and look almost all newer flat screens have HD and it's a blast, you ain't seen nothing till you hook up the high res monitor or TV.

DVI stands for Digital Visual Interface. Most modern, name brand flat panel computer monitors built 2006 and beyond are now equipped with a DVI port. However make sure your computer has a DVI port as well, as it will be required at both ends.

Get any monitor, even if it doesn't have a dvi connector you can use a dvi to vga adapter which is what i use. this way you can now just look for the monitor which is the best deal for you,
