I have a IBM Thinkpad 240. As many of you already know this laptop does not have a Caps Lock key on it.The only way to get a capital letter is to hold down the FN key and the right shift key. This is very annoying considering that the keys are on opposite sides of the keyboard from each other. Is there anything I can do to create a Caps lock key and trick the computer into thinking the command is Caps lock?

people I know I just asked this but this is an older webcam andi was trying to hook it up i hooked it up in the back USB port of my computer but my computer did not reconize it what can i do to solve this? So...I plugged in my mic headset into my computer today, and...I called one of my friends on Skype, and they said they couldnt hear me. I turned up my mic, but that didnt work. Then I recorded myself on Audacity, and there was no playback....it was silent. MY MIC ISNT PICKING UP ANY SOUND!.....grrrr.

I was wondering if anyone knows what I can do to fix the problem...or if I should just go out and buy a new one (I would use the warranty I have on it, but I lost it...ugh!)

For some reason, my D: drive (CD) does not show up anymore. It used too however, now every time I put in a CD nothing happens. I open my computer and and I see no D: drive icon. I tried going to the update driver and windows says that the hardware is installed correctly but it does not work. I checked all of my plugs but I still have this problem. What should I do? Please do help.

Do you need to set a digital camera with a setup disk on your pc. I want to get a digital camera and load the images onto my computer with a usb cable, instead of printing them at a shop. My disk drive doesn't work on my computer, I can't load any disks, which is annoying. So can I still load the images without having a setup disk for my pc?

I have decided to purchase either the :-
1) ASUS M2N32 SLI Delux nforce 590 SLi
or
2) MSI MS7250 SLI ( Platuinium)

Can anyone tell me whether ATI or GeForce graphic card is
compatible to above boards ?
Or what characteristics do I look for for compatibility bet mother
board and graphic card ?

I am uisng AMD Athlon 64 X 5000 1M 1M cache processor

I want to build using the AM2 platform. Should i go with with the FX-60, or should I wait till the price lowers and get an X2 series processor? I realistically would only like to spend around $200, MAYBE $250. But if i get a huge performance gain using one over another, maybe it might be worth the extra money.

I was reading reviews about the core 2 duo e6400 2.13 Ghz processor and a guy was saying that he overclocked the processor from 2.13 to 3.46Ghz. Some other person said that he overclocked to 3.33GHz. How do you overclock this processor?And how do you know if you oc'ed to 3.33 or 3.46 or etc.?Is overclocking makes a big difference?Can a motherboard have an impact on overlocking?
