The ipod nano comes packaged with a usb cable in it. This cable will work on 2.0 and has been designed for it. If you need a new cable just visit your nearest best buy, circuit city, etc and you will be able to buy it cheaper as in most cases shipping it using an online dealer may cost more than the cable itself. Usb 2.0 is just a faster speed for transferring data. All your old products designed for USB 1.1 should work using the same port. Yet only products designed to work on 2.0 will run faster.

Hi. USB 2.0 card readers are cheap, but it sounds like you need a USB 2.0 port card, still under $5. It goes into a PCI port. This deal is expired http://dealnews.com/deals/4-Port-USB-2-0-PCI-Card-for-7-shipped/152498.html but gives you an idea of what it should cost on sale.

The USB cable should come with the IPOD when you buy it.. USB is for the most part Plug and Play, so all you have to do is plug the device in and Windows will automatically configure it for you..
