Hardware - February 2007

I know there not made for gaming, but im trying to play age of empires 3, and all the requirments are met or exceeded but it still bogs down and freezes completely for a few minutes during navel battles. IS there any way to stop this?
Ive already turned down the game graphics and all that stuff.

I have a ATI 9800 XT video card, and one capacitor fall off (my fault, I put pressure in the wrong part). I cant use the same cap for it, because one of the feet is broken. But I can´t find another one locally. The info i have for this capacitor is this. to the left is a purple band, then to the right it says 4 0 2, right below S V P, then below 1200, and then below 4. Could some one told me what it is and where I can order one of those? Thanks

I am trying to reformat my Dell Laptop.. Everytime I stick the XP cd in it takes me to my Welcome screen..I have tried F2, F10, DEL (all options people on yahoo answers have given).. None of those options take me to the reboot screen... I have tried almost everything and I still can not reformat my laptop...What should I do now???

My friend wants to pick up a video card for his computer, but he doesn't want to open the case just to see what type of card he should get. Is there any way to find out without opening the case? Thanks!

its a black tower with XP home Pre-installed., built 2005 or 2006 Im missing files and need to know who makes the model. All thats on it is "Ultra" lower center, no manufactor showing anyplace from or rear.

I live outside the US . I need help purchasing laptops from Dell and other manufacturing companies because most of these companies don't accept payments from outside the US . I will be able to have a ship-to address in the US via the mail forwarding company that I know . I want someone who is living in the US to purchase laptops for me and ship them to the address that I will provide and I will pay that person back via wire transfer when the delivery of the merchandise to the provided address verified .

I have a desktop computer and i have a 126 ram chip when i put it in mt screen stays blank. so i take that one out and put in my 64 one in and it says 206 memory failed configuration. the computer came with a 256 ram already and i just leave that one alone. Help

im looking at buying a new laptop & thinking about dell, i need it to produce invoices etc for my work & be able to operate adobe photo shop, are dell as good as anyone else? i'm abit concerned about their back up service if anything goes wrong
