I'd buy a laptop from Staples and I would get an HP... I have had 3 HP computers...one of them is 1 year old, another 7 years old and the other just a few months old and I've never had any problems with any of them and they are very affordable.

A new Mac book or a Mac book pro are 2 good notebooks. If you likes Windows, you can run it on the new Macs. If you just want something cheap, then get an HP or something like that.
With all computers, buying online is the way to go. You can get great deals that you won't find in a store.
