I am about to go to the store and get something that is especially for cleaning LCD screens, but I thought that maybe it would be okay to use regular rubbing alcohol.. I suppose because it is a versatile household product.

My Asus motherboard has a Dsub connector for monitor. I didn't use it because I connect my monitor through an AGP card. I tried to remove the AGP card and connect the monitor to the Dsub of the motherbard but it doesn't work. What can I do to activate it?
I see in the BIOS that there are selections for shared video ram of 8MB, 16MB 32MB and 64MB. What are the considerations in choosing them?

After enabling the motherboard Dsub, can I connect a second monitor to AGP and then run different programs simutaneosly so that one program is display on one monitor and another program on the other? How can we control which program display on which monitor?

My computer got upgraded and I'm having trouble saving documents on CDs but there's no problem using the drive for listening or viewing purposes. Unfortunately, the person that did the upgrade cannot be contacted. Can someone please help? Thanks.

I use a gateway notebook (I believe a 3060GZ). I was watching a movie (avi file) in windows media player. I closed it, and then suddenly my computer restarted, and wouldn't detect the power pack no matter what. No indicator lights, windows said it was running off the battery, etc.

About 45 minutes or so later (the computer was turned off), the indicator light came back on to say it was charging. I unplugged and plugged the power pack in again, and sure enough, it came back on. I haven't turned on the PC yet since I'm a little afraid to. Suggestions or ideas what went wrong and how to fix it?

I have an Acer Aspire laptop, running Windows XP, and lately my keyboard is very slow. I have to hold down each key for 1-2 seconds. VERY annoying, as I mostly use it to type. I've tried adjusting the keyboard settings in the control panel, to no avail. HELP! Thanks.
