Partition Magic has an associated boot software, but you can do it without special software by installing each operating system on a separate partition. Now having said that, I don't do it that way. I have drive drawers, like the ones that IT schools use. A drive is placed in each drive drawer, and slid into the accompanying drawer slot and locked into place with a little metal key. Then the computer is turned on. You need to buy two or more identical drive drawers, and they must match the type of hard drive that you are using, EIDE, SATA, etc.

Download, over a fast connection, like a cable or DSL one, this:
http://pclinuxos.com that is a LiveCDrom image (aka ISO).
Burn image (ISO) to a CD.
reboot, to run it in RAM. (Needs any Intel, IBM, Cyrix, AMD x86 cpu, 128 Mb of RAM, to run all the included games, programs.
Install takes about 6 Gb drive space or a second drive.)
Dual boot (really, multi-boots, up to 23 OSes!) is in the menu, which you should read very carefully! Option 1 or 2 can wipe out the installed systems!
I like to practice on an older system that came out of the closet, or off the curb. Any Pentium 400 mhz or better works great!
All the Install instructions are on the desktop icon, and at the forums.
Welcome to 5500 games, programs, and upto 50X faster computer processing of them! PCLinuxOS blows VISTA (with it's huge, bloated, filesystem and "114,000 Microsoft Virus Definitions"), out of the water, for 3D graphics, movies, audio,
Frostwire, and more, without any of the Microsoft DRM!
