but the problem is when i insert the recovery disc i cant even reinstall my Windows Xp Home Edition

when i run the recovery disc in the boot menu,it loads finish and just restarts without showing me anything

hm my pc only came with a recovery dvd but when i use it (twice) it also reinstalled windows...maybe its like dat with urs..

the recovery disc is your copy of windows xp, once you have reinstalled it you will have to visit the toshiba web site and download the drivers for your laptop

Contact with the retailer, maybe they forgot to put the cd in the package. Usually laptops come with their recovery cd + OS cd.
