I'm playing right now Half-Life 2. it starts out fast but then all of the suddent it starts to slow down. Gun firing, screaming of the Crab people,people talking- that also goes so ssssllllooooowwww! it like echoes in slow motion! hehehe.

It would be nice if this software let u use the flash drive for other things as well...

also... if i use this program and take out my flash drive after I shut down my computer then erase the computer's files on the flash drive.... will everythiing be OK?

After installing DVD Maker Plus on my computer using their CD, my laptop suddenly failed to recognize my DVD driver. I was trying to transfer analog movies to DVD's. I made a copy of one and put it on my computer but when I went to put it on DVD it wasn't there. The website of Pinnacle software who makes this says that sometimes the CD/DVD will get turned off. Their solution is to go into the registry and make a change. I am very afraid of making any changes in the registry. Has anyone ever had his happen?

Ok I have been with the same computer with Windows 98 SE for like 8 years, I desperately need a new computer now because mine is obsolete, it has too many errors, and the new programs that are coming aren't compatible with mine. I am a college student so my computer is very important to me.

I am planning on buying a new PC this summer, but now that Windows Vista came I don't know if I should wait until people finally determine that Vista is a good OS to use with not so many errors etc, or don't pay much attention to vista and just buy one with Windows XP.

Whats the big deal of buying one with Windows XP now? Should I do it?

I bought a new computer recently that came with an Exapansion bay to insert an additional CD/DVD Writer. Can I remove the one from my previous computer and insert it into my new one with out any problems. Or is it just best to purcahse a new one?

All answers refer to a printer problem thus far. Cleaning heads, cleaning rollers, and replacing ink cartridges. These things have already been done and i still get the lines when printing and saving pdf files while using the ADF feature. This does not happen when I use the glass instead of the Autmatic Document feature. This is a scanning problem while using the ADF feature. It is not a printing problem. The printer works great when I scan to file or when I print from the glass.

This may be incidental, but a couple of days ago, I started having problems with my keyboard - I had to hit the 'b' and 'r' button 3 times to get them to type - just a glich I thought. But, tonight I get 16 items on my desktop all highlighted and none of my anti-virus or spy-bots are working, and my CPU cooler fan is going like it's woking really hard!!! After some overclocking of my new CPU, it's getting kinda hot. Originally it was like 78C, but I added a fan to drop it to about 54C. That's still a little hot for my liking. I'd like to lower it down to around 40-45 degrees C. I don't want to use water cooling as a method, because if any thing goes wrong, I don't wanna pork over hundereds of dollars to replace the parts. I'd like like to cool every thing down in general.
