You mean rugged laptops right? If not, then the only laptop mire "rugged" then what IBM makes are the Panasonic toughbooks. The IBM casings are made of magnesium and titanium, so they can take a bit of a beating (can withstand a 3 foot drop).

I don't know. I do know the rugged ones are as tough as they claim. They are also big bucks. However if you need to take a laptop to a construction site it might be the laptop to get.
Check to make sure the screen is protected better than a normal laptop. The screens on many laptops are vulnerable.

I don't know which notebooks are claiming to be "semi-rugged". But I do know that the Panasonic Toughbook's can be dropped from the top of a 13ft tall helicopter several times without damage. So I'm sure some of them are.

The AR-7 is a huge advice. I own between the later iterations made by technique of Henry palms, and that is especially precise for a rifle that has you connect the barrel to the receiver. At 50 ft with iron attractions it easily makes a million inch communities. that is semi-automated, very compact (could be stored interior of its own inventory), and extremely easy (that's the only rifle my mom will shoot). longevity is acceptable, yet i does not be bashing something with the easy-weight inventory. you're limited to 10 around magazines (not clips) even with the shown fact that. and additionally like each .22LR rifles that is probable extra effective for close to to medium variety. purely given the ballistics of the cartridge you're actually not likely to locate any .22LR rifle it is sensible against 2-legged targets at medium to long variety. The extra precise (and high priced) version of the AR-7 is Majestic Arm's M4 (and the older MA 2000). that could be somewhat heavier and loses the "keep interior the inventory" function, yet is extra precise and good. it is likewise an decision. Ruger 10/22s are advantageous, yet extremely rather heavy as quickly as you accurize them. i does not evaluate my purpose 10/22 to be easy nor compact, a minimum of interior the comparable way that the AR-7 is.

Not sure about semi-rugged ones either, but I heard about one that the military use that can withstand a tank driving over it which I'd call pretty damn tough :)
