Double click on the files that you want, and then move them into another drive. Put your files into another drive such as "E" drive. This is a safe driver. My suggestion to you, keep all of your important files in the "E" drive for security reasons. For example: If a hacker gets into your system they can only access the files in your main drive. They can't access other files into another driver. I hope that this helps

Unfortunately, if the computer says it HAS been formatted, then the data is wiped. If it says it NEEDS to be formatted, then the problem usually is that your data is corrupt (or the filing system). You'll HAVE to format it. The only two things i can think of are 1) plug it into another computer and see if it will work OR 2) use magicISO and make a .iso of the drive (meaning it saves all the data found on the drive). Then just open that ISO. I don't know if it can mount corrupt drives though...

Try inserting into the PC that copied the files onto it, or a different PC if that's the same. Don't format it unless it's a last resort and you've tried everything else.

If it already formatted then it should work. If you mean it 'has to be' formatted then right click and press explore and then what does it say.

go on with the format and after that use a program called finaldata to scan your flash stick and restore your files

try the flash disk on another computer. or go back to the same computer you created the files on. sometimes differnt computers do that. dont format coz formatting will erase all your files.

I have sent you a link for 2 files, this will scan your drive for corrupted and missing data, and hopefully restore it.
Check your Yahoo mail.

If it says it is already formatted then the data is already gone and you cannot get it back.

or Softperfect (free)
