I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 which has a SD card slot on the side. I need to know how to activate the slot so i can use a SD card. Any help would be appreciated.

i currently have an Nvidia Gefore3 200ti graphics card in my computer and was wonderin if i picked up another graphics card (of lesser or equal value) and installed it in to my PC (while leaving the origianl installed as well) would that allow me to use dual moniters.

Hello, I disconected my lacie EXTERNAL hard drive (500 gb) from my PC, and when I conect it again the PC can't read it.
That happens to me before, but I was abble to mount it in a Maccintosh.
Now, I can't read the contect even in a MAC. So I used DATA RECOVERY in order to save my files in another external hard drive.
BUT: is there any way to recober the registry or index of this hard drive so my PC (windows) can read it again? Thank you!

NEC 19 inch monitor?

I just set up an new monitor (Christmas present), It took a lot of twicking to get it to look the way I like . Finally everyting is the right size and color except my mouse cursor is so small it gets lost most of the time and is a pain to find. How can I make it larger?

The first thing that shows on the screen is the video card i have in it. They all used to be white letters, now some are white and some are purple. Then it goes to the gateway symbol and then the windows xp screen with thge blue bar showing its loading. Then my moniter says no signal but my computer is still on wtf? Plz help is it my card or the computer?

i wanna know which one is better?; it seems that AMD Athlon's are better than Intel according to reviews and test on Cnet. But i wanna know which one is more reliable/durable; cuz i hear AMD processors dying, burning, crashing, incompatibility issues etc which makes me feel that maybe AMD is not as reliable as Intel even though technichal performance is better...

So ppl, tell me ur opinion and from ur experiance...

I spilled wine into my HP Pavilion ZD8000 Laptop. Two drop's got through the keyboard and landed on the motherboard. It seems one drop hit the motherboards "G" spot and it fried the motherboard. After I quit cursing and kicking and bitching, smoke started to poor out of the laptop at an alarming rate. (This was after I unplugged it and removed the battery so it must have dischared a capasitor or something..?) Anyways, i bought a 2 1/2 inch USB hard drive enclosure and my hard drive data is still good. I can acess everything except 1 folder. (The folder i need of course) The problem is that when i go to "E:\Documents and Settings\My User Folder\" I get a message box that is titled "MSOChache" and says "E:\Documents and Settings\My User Folder\ is not accessable. Access is denied". So the data in my users folder is not accessable and the most important documents are within my user's folder. How can i get into this folder and get my data? Any ideas?

I need help my computer won't recognize that there is a hard drive in there. I had windows xp home edition and then I put in the windows xp media center edition to change but while it's setting up it says push enter and then when I do it says it can't find a hard drive. Before all of this I was swiching a hard drive to find out what was on it and now I put my regular hard drive in it and now it won't recognize it. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
