Hello Alejandro M,

The MacBook is better than a Windows PC because of the Mac OS X. It's easier to use, doesn't crash, and has no computer viruses. The Unix kernel makes it the most secure OS out there. Because Apple makes it (Apple has become the number one distributor of Unix in the world), you are able to use Unix, Macintosh, as well as Windows applications.

Microsoft still doesn't get it. Vista isn't even officially out yet and it's already got viruses for it. Unfortunately, the Windows Nazis don't get it either. They only know what they've been told, so you really need to investigate this for yourself.

Go to a local Macintosh dealer in your area and try out the Macintosh for yourself. You will see for yourself how easy it is to use and how much software is out there for it. You will also see for yourself what you are paying for when you get Macintosh hardware. It's all inside. You really don't have to buy a new Mac every three years like Mr. Dell tells everyone for the Windows machines.

Best of luck to you on your final decision.

It isn't. But it depends on what you want to do.

MAC has its advantages in the world of Art. Graphic designers use it almost exclusely.

But sharing data, documents in the business world means PC (IBM). With the PC, you get people that are trained on standardized tools. You reach 90 percent of the computer literacy and funtionality.

From a security point of view, the MAC wins. Many people that use MACs on-line simply don't have anti-virus programs. MAC users don't even know what SpyWare is.

So it all depends on what you intend to do with it.

It's not. The hardware is more expensive from the equivalent you could get on a PC for the money. The question you have to ask is, is getting Mac OS X instead of Windows really worth the premium?

It is for those who have their reliable, easy-to-use Macs, and it isn't for those who have their less-expensive, easy-to-find-software-for PCs.

your question is not rightly true!
it's just your idea, and a macintosh is not than a pc, or a pc is not better than a macintosh Computer.
it's depending with your work and your needs from a Computer that can show a kind of computer(Makintosh or PC)better than others...
