hey ppls how do i re-install windows after i formatted the drive...i dont have the recovery discs,but i do have a boot up disk

If you've already formatted then you're half way home.
If you have Windows XP, then just boot from the Windows XP CD. If you don't have Windows XP, and you're using another version of Windows, then boot up your computer using the disk and when you get to a prompt like C:\ type in setup and press enter, like so:
C:\Setup
PS make sure you have the Windows CD in the drive ;)

u just formatted your drive so there is nothing to be done unless u have a recovery discs or a windows cd to install.

When you reformatted the drive you wiped out all the drivers for your computer. Next time ask these questions before you wipe everything out. You'll need to track down all the hardware drivers for your motherboard and everything else now.
