I'm in fifth grade and it's getting harder to take notes on paper because I always lose the piece of paper!
We are allowed to bring laptops and stuff to school so I want to buy a tablet pc/ laptop.
It would be very useful.
Where can I get one that is cehap?
How can I make enough money to get it?

Recently everything on screen and in websites has gone big and I can't read things properly. I have not changed settings or fonts - word/excel are ok - just what I view on screen.

I have widows xp sp-2 on my laptop.Whenever i attach any new usb flash drive , it ask to install it. However after first installation , it does not require to install again after reconnect.While on my other office coputers , it do not require to install the device and straight away it starts to use the device.Also the same usb device , if i connect to some other usb port , it asks to install again.After installation , the device works fine.I want that i sould not require to install any new usb flash drive , wehn i connect to my laptop

If I buy a new computer with a discrete graphics chip (eg. ATI Radeon) that supports DirectX 9, when DirectX 10 or 11, etc come out, will the graphics chip manufacturer (eg. ATI) be able to release drivers for download on their website, so that games that use DirectX 10 or 11, etc, will be able to be played on the old graphics chip?

ok, i've "supposedly" converted the movie into a DVD format but everytime i want to burn it, it says that there is no disk. i put a DVD-R disk but it's not working. can't i use this disk? plz i need help!!!! idk how many times i've converted it & it doesnt work!!!! thxs =]

i've downloaded the movie from limewire
& i've used the program ConvertXToDVD & AVS Video Converter 5.5

I just went out and bought a new western digital EIDE Caviar SE 7200rpm 160 gig hard drive and when i put in to my emachines T1220 desktop without the internet pluged into it i get this message saying that a media errror has occured and it asks to check the cable and i don't know what that means, when the enternet is pluged in then i get this weird message and then it says no bootfile was found. I was wondering if my pc can handle a hard drive of that size and if so what can i do to fix this?

Everything on my computer seems to be zoomed in, the screens on the internet seem bigger and arnt regulated to fit my screen, and the same is with my desktop, does anyone know how to fix this. Okay, I have an HP laptop. Specs not really important for this Question, now the piece of metal junk has crashed on me for the second time, the first time, i reinstalled operating system and all, and it worked. A week later, it crashed, and now when i try installing the operating system, it gets to the part where I have to choose which drive or whatever to install xp on, no matter what option i click, the thing flashes an error message, and tells me it must shut down to prevent damage to computer. Obviously it ain't bright cause the comp is already damaged. If i start it without operating system is reads operating system not found, and shuts off after a few minutes. What do I need to do to fix this? Do I need to just buy a new internal hard drive? or is the comp totaled? i'm thinking maybe hard drive is just piece of garb, but i'm no expert that's why i'm asking anyone out their. Your answers are definitely appreciated and helpful, thank you all in advance.

I'm about to buy a new laptop and am looking for suggestions on what specs I should get. I'm going to be using it at school (i'm a college student) and will be running programs like AutoCAD, Photoshop, a limited number of games, and also for downloading music and photos. I was also thinking about getting a TV tuner and/or GPS system because I travel a lot. I'm looking for suggestions on how much memory I should get, harddrive capacity, processor specs, brand issues, etc etc etc. I don't think I can have a mac, although I would love one.
