If this is possible then I would like to know how? I think I also may need a video card, can you also put one of those in it?

Upgrading RAM on a laptop is really easy. On the bottom of the laptop, there's usually a panel that you unscrew, and there's the memory

Upgrading a video card on a laptop is nearly impossible to do at home...you're usually stuck with what you have

Most laptops include two slots one for base memory and one for expanding that base memory. In some laptops the base memory socket sits deep in the case while in other laptops the base memory and expansion memory socket sit next two each other.

All laptops have an embedded video controller so you will not be able to upgrade to a newer video adapter.

You'll have to look on www.crucial.com for the specific memory that the laptop uses since you didn't provide those details.

Access to the expansion memory slot varies but is normally on the bottom.

Also keep in mind that there is a limit to how much memory you can install. You'll need the system specifications for that also.

Upgrading RAM on a laptop is actually pretty easy.

Use the following link to determine what type of RAM you'll need:

Upgrading the graphics in your laptop can be a bit more of a challenge, as many laptops have graphics that are integrated with the motherboard. You should check with the laptop manufacturer to see if your laptop can have the graphics changed or upgraded.

yes, you can definitely upgrade your ram.

How? you ask. There is a panel on the bottom of your laptop that contains the ram chip(s). Just install the new one there.

Be careful of a few things though:
1. The max ram supported by your motherboard
2. One of the ram slots may be under the keyboard
3. Get the same speed of ram (pc2700, pc3200, etc..)

I was in your position once. Adding ram doesnt really do anything if ur video card sucks. I juiced my laptop to 1 gig of ram and still nothing. Just build a desktop.

One other thing that you should watch out for when playing WoW on a laptop is overheating even with the upgraded ram =/.

thats the exact problem with laptops, you have almost no room for upgrades, so no, unless you have a laptop type i have never seen before, which is possible.
