some pictures were deleted off my pc-i did a system restore,but still cant get them back-why is this?-?

-is there any way for me to get them back???

System Restore does not restore lost files. It restores Operating System and application settings. Try the Recycle Bin or look at data recovery software such as Stellar Phoenix.
