Bluetooth Wireless USB Adapter model GBU221 Range 20 meters or 66 feet which ever you want go by. The company who made it is IOGEAR. My question is is there any way change something in the setting meaning is there any software trick that I can boost the range and boost it radio frequency or I have take the case part and mess around in it if. Please tell me in plain english step by step. SO IF YOU DONT KNOW OR WANT MAKE A SMARTASS REMARK DONT EVEN MATTER TO REPLY.

I have read a few of the answers on here but I am still not sure what to get. I have a 80GB HD now and want to add more space, but I still have over 40GB left on my current HD. My computer runs quite slow considering, and I am planning to upgrade my memory from 512mb to 1GB, does anyone think that it might be enough to just upgrade the memory? I use the computer for Music, Video, lots of pictures and some games. I want to be able to do more with the computer without worrying if I am going to make it even slower. I do have a spywear protection and check that every week so I don't think I have any spywear problems. If anyone knows any other things to check and what the best upgrade to start with is I would love to know. Thank you for your help.

My computer I am on now is really slow 666mhz processor, 186 memory and really crappy motherboard with hardware glitches. I got it in like 97 anyway.

Well I know the cheapest way to get a new computer is build it yourself. I went into compUSA yesterday and im kinda excited about it. I dont want to pay someone else to build it for me.

What things do I need to buy if I want to build a very fast computer with ok graphics. I dont want a gaming computer, but I definitely want a fast processor and huge harddrive.

What should I do first?

I just purchased a new emachines computer today. It came in a package with the keyboard + mouse + printer + speakers included. My speakers aren't working! I tried a pair of old speakers i had lying around and they don't work either. Is there a problem with my computer? Help!

Do I install the graphics card and drivers, then disable the onboard card? Do i have to uninstall the old onboard cards drivers? What are the buttons to go into bios? Where do i go from bios? Should i install drivers from the CD that came with the graphics card? or do i download them from nvidia or the manufacturers site? By the way, i have a PNY geforce 7600 GS. This should be able to play battlefield 2142 and BF2 right?

Okay, so, my mom lost her download disk to her Lexmark printer before she even got to use it. So, I went to the lexmark website and downloaded the thing so I didn't have to use a disk. Now, my problem is, I still can't use the printer. I've gone to the control panel and clicked on "add printer". Then this install wizard comes up and wants me to browse to find the printer. I'm confused at this point. If anybody has any insight, please help.

I know nothing about computer jargon. So please explain the words you use. Like if you recommend 20 megabytes bc that makes movies download faster, etc. (I made that up; that was just an example.)

Do they have something were i can connect my regular printer to my network without having to connect it to another computer. I would like this so i can print at anytime without always having to turn on another computer just to print one small thing. Is it some electronic thing? What is it called if they do have it? Thanks

my computer had 256mb ddr ram...and i upgraded it to 640mb ram..yet my comuter works slowly..i think just like the effect of a 256mb ram...what do i do..i installed norton 2006 in my pc..is it slowing my computer..but still 640mb can withstand norton processes i guess...anyway iam thinking of installing avg free edition instead of norton..do u think its wise to do that..will the protection level come down..or is there any step left to do if we increase ram..please suggest a way

I've been looking at Planar and ViewSonic. Each of them has a model I like, but I don't want to overlook something else really good. There are so many choices out there and I've done enough searching and reading reviews to know I'd like some opinions about my specific needs.

I need height adjustable. I think I should be able to get 8ms response, 800:1 contrast and 600+ (?) brightness in the monitor I buy without too much trouble.

My eyes tire easily and I need a larger screen to help with that. I do mostly office-type work. I expect to be doing a little more photo or video in the near future - not professional. I'm not a gamer, but I need really good graphics to help my eyes. I want LCD, also, to reduce my radiation exposure.

I'm also interested in any opinions about buy at a store, or buy online.

I have a dell. Not sure of the model but it is soooo slow. It's really making me upset. I was wondering if I use the Operating System Reinstillation CD Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition for Dell-if it would help it get faster and just make the computer overall better.

Yes-I have done Disk Cleanups so don't ask lol. And I've done alot of System Restores too. And I have gone through everything on my computer and deleted anything not needed. And I havent even used up half of my memory so it isnt that.
