I don't really know what that last guy was yelling about, overclocking is not that dangerous if you know what you are doing, although as others have said I wouldn't recommend it if you are not experienced.

Anyway to answer your question, correctly that is, in order to overclock you have to increase the bus speed, just increasing voltage will not do. On most processors you can increase somewhat without increasing voltage, but yes increasing voltage will help you go even higher.

Neither. You increase your processor's clock speed. Increasing the voltage would do nothing but fry your computer.

Also, I strongly recommend against doing this if you aren't 100% sure of what you're doing. Overclocking will cause your CPU to run at a higher temp, and unless you are compensating for this, it will likely overheat and get ruined.

please do not in any way try to overclock your main processor.
if your good with computers then you can try overclocking your graphics card. PROVIDED IT IS A DISCRETE ONE I.E. IF IT IS NOT "ON BOARD" THEN YOU CAN TRY IT.
For that you need an application called powerstrip. in it, in the settings increase the speed in increments of 5mhz. beyond a point if there is no noticable change in performance then STOP RIGHT THERE.

PLZ DO NOT OVERCLOCK YOUR PROCESSOR !!!!!
