On the front of the monitor should be at least four buttons, on older monitors they controls were on the back. Push one, it should bring up a crude menu of picture icons. You will have to experiment in moving to the picture of a screen with two sideway arrows to stretch the screen sideways, then to the icon of the screen being stretched up and down, then Exit. Honestly, each monitor is different, but basically this should do it. Chow

right click on desktop
click properties
settings tab
1024X768 is what I use on a 19" monitor
Also, make sure you have the proper drivers for your monitor instead of using generic drivers provided by microsoft.
I can't walk you through this, but you should go to your computer manufacturer page and get the drivers if they are not loaded. If they are unavailable you can look at the model on the back of your monitor up at www.driverguide.com
good luck

"Right Click" on your desktop, go to "Properties", look for the "Settings" tab
There is a slider on the left that reads "Screen Resolution"
Too make your screen larger, drag it to the left, to make it smaller drag it to the right.
