If you have already built computers for your friends, you should have no trouble building one for yourself. You know everything you need, you just have to figure out what you want. For $2000 you should be able to start with a good motherboard and processor - from there it's easy sailing.

I am ganna say build it if you have the experience of a tech. The other reason is, you get the parts for a real low price. Some might say bare bones kit (computers) because the motherboard is already installed. I have not got any kits on line so far. But if I do or when I do it will be build my own. Other wise the cost would go way up.

Build it, it is a lot cheaper and it will be exactly how you want it.

If you are not nerdy enough, then get a friend who is, invite him over one day, go to www.newegg.com. Order all the parts he tells you to. When everything arrives in a big box, take the entire box to him and pay him $40 to put it all together. If he is any good, it should NOT take him more than an hour.

Trust me, it will still be cheaper.

You've built 6? You know what you need to do then, build number 7 for yourself!
