i went to print a file, but i stopped and canceled it halfway through printing. then i went to print something else and now nothing will print.

i went to "Start", then "Printers and Faxes", then i double clicked on my printer and it shows all the printing jobs that the printer has right now and my file that i canceled in the middle of printing is still there, but it says 'Deleting - Printing' and no matter how many times i right click on it and click 'cancel' it wont go away, and until thats gone, it wont print any other printing jobs after it. what do i do? how do i get it to delete that priority?

I just refomated my computer and plugged my speakers back in, but they won't work anymore. All the connections are ok and the power light is on. My friend said i need a driver but i don't know what to do to get one. I have fairly old Altec Lansing speakers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. thankyou in advance

i have a laptop,and before windows was re-installed,i had sound.i don't have speakers,i don't know what, or where my drivers are. the laptop already has a sound card installed.i need it in plain english cause it's doin my head in! i can't listen to my musuc! Please help!

I can't really adjust anything from the monitor, so is there anything with the actual computer settings that needs to be adjusted. I did some online check up thing and the black points all looked the same but the white points were distinguisable.

Ive dropped it in the past, but it works perfectly fine. But sometimes when it goes in hibernate, it wont show no picture. I will have to restart it a billion times....then finally it come back to normal. What can be this problem, Ive dropped it in the past, but it was a very soft drop. I also want to mention I have very very very very very very low disk space on it, could this be the problem.

My HP Pavilion 5495 moniter displays white as pink and black as green and ive diagnosed it as a bundle of cords leading into the moniter. I think it is loose on the moniter side. what i want to know is if the moniter for my laptop is hard to take apart or check the connections to the moniter. Also is it hard to put back together.

My emachines desktop computer is corunpt. It's harddrive starts when i plug in the power. But then when i press the power button it's proccesor does not start up and nothing works. Every time i shut down the computer is still running. Then when it boots up it said "Operating System not found". But now it won't start up at any cost. I need plenty of help.It has my application Development and school files on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when i prees the wireless button there is no light to say "active" so when try to log on to the internet i get a "unable to connect" message ? i just keep pressing the wireless button and eventually i get connected but any sugestions to stop this irritation would be appreciated ? also could i set my laptop to go wireless automatically each time i switch on ? instead of having to press the wireless button ? thanks!?

My Win Intervideo Home Theater remote stopped working after changing the batteries. The infrared light on the receiver flickers when I press buttons but the software itself is not responding.

Ok, I've been on this site long enough to know that at least one of you knows the answer. I've been to the geek sites...yep they're geeks. I think my problem wasn't interesting enough for them.

Upgraded PC to XP and lost the sound its a tiny computers model and took the advice of checking the sound card and doing a google search for the drivers. Can't find anything all I know is that its an on board wavetable32. Can I buy a seperate sound card if there is one built into the board already or is there another way?
