I just refomated my computer and plugged my speakers back in, but they won't work anymore. All the connections are ok and the power light is on. My friend said i need a driver but i don't know what to do to get one. I have fairly old Altec Lansing speakers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. thankyou in advance

i dont know how to un install the sound drivers. Under the sound video and game controllers section there are a few things but i not sure which one i shuld un-install.

Go to device manager UN install sound driver turn off computer turn it on the computer will install a new driver.

Tune up the volume. Click on the speacker on the taskbar.
