i went to print a file, but i stopped and canceled it halfway through printing. then i went to print something else and now nothing will print.

i went to "Start", then "Printers and Faxes", then i double clicked on my printer and it shows all the printing jobs that the printer has right now and my file that i canceled in the middle of printing is still there, but it says 'Deleting - Printing' and no matter how many times i right click on it and click 'cancel' it wont go away, and until thats gone, it wont print any other printing jobs after it. what do i do? how do i get it to delete that priority?

Please try to restart the print spooler and then try printing.

To clear the print spooler, follow the steps given below.

If you are running a Windows OS, and if you want to kill the print job, simply press simultaneously: [Control button] + [Alt button] + [Delete button] together to get the Task Manager window to open up and choose "Task Manager" tab dialog screen to show. Then proceed to choose the Printer on the list. Once it's highlighted, click "OK" button to cancel the print job. You need to request another attempt of printing so retry your print job and see what happens.

If you continue to have a cancellation, midway through the print job, then recheck the paper that is being fed into the printer. Sometimes paper gets jammed in the paper feed thus causing the print to stop midway through the print job.

Good Luck.

Pull the paper out of the printer quick so it won't waste paper and ink.

Then cancel print jobs and reboot.

If it keeps messing up, throw it across the room so it breaks, then get a new printer.

It will make you feel better anyway.

Yes we can. We have had the technology to send people to other planets since we visited the Moon. BUT…. We don’t have the economical resources to finance such project. If you do some research, you will find how many times NASA have tried to present the US Government a decent plan, including one time when the Government actually requested a serious and probable plan to go to Mars back in the 90’s. NASA gave a good project, with massive ships, massive stations orbiting both earth and Mars, and big bases on both Mars and the Moon. But when the Government saw the price… $400 Billion plus… they just laugh and closed the file and gave it back to NASA and told them “when we said serious and probable, we meant that, nit to recreate a Star Wars or Star Trek Hollywood movie film”. We could have already a colony in the Moon and have already started also one on Mars if it wasn’t of “money issues”. If you look at NASA’s latest proposals, which are actually already approved for the most part and set on motion, we are going back to the Moon, and from there to Mars. But this time, we are using “cheap” and small ships, hoping they can always meet the budget. At the rate we are, I wouldn’t be surprise if the first ships with humans that go to Mars have stikers all around from private sponsors like McDonalds, Walmart, Ford and GM.. and big stickers all around that say “Intel Inside”… lol

OH I want to know what it really turns out to be!!! My husband use to tell me that he would be called out of his office at work OFTEN because of printer problems.... and he would go thru a list things that make you say "DUH!" when you figure it out... and it's not just an insult, but true outcomes.
Does it still have paper? is it still plugged in (due to a pet or your foot moving). Paper is the thing that comes to mind first, it doesn't refill itself. Go thru EVERYTHING.. even if it's a dumb idea... check it. Computer jokes are not jokes.. they sound funny to most people but I have learned that they are REAL!!! Good luck.
