If you mean you want to connect the mac with a PC that is running the printer, try http://www.kan.org/networking/quicknet.html

The easiest will be to network via an ethernet cable, but depending on your equipment, you might be able to go wirless. Saves running all of the cable, but costs a bit for a wireless router like an Airport Base Station.

The Airport can be wireless from your Mac and ethernet cabled to the PC if it isn't wireless capable. Put the Airport close to the cable connected PC to minimize cable length. It can be 100'+ from the Mac. (I tie my laptop into my Airport network from my truck parked about 75' from the house with no problems.

To know if the PC has ethernet, check the back. Ethernet looks like a telephone jack, but bigger. There are PC wireless and ethernet cards available for the PC if needed. Your Mac should have at least ethernet and may have Airport installed. (Under the Apple, click About this Mac, click More Info click Airport Card. If it's there it will show it. if not, you can only use ethernet cables.)
