I have connected my notebook PC to my TV using an S-VHS lead. This way, I can use it to play DVDs and see them on my TV screen. However, when I try to play media files using Windows Media Player or Real Player, I get sound and no picture. Any suggestions?

Hello, i have a problem, when i turn on my PC the cpu usege is 100%. Sometimes usege jumping from ~4 to 100% ... whenever i play PC games, or use programs they really lag. If i whait a little bit after i turn on my PC the CPU usage drops a little bit, but not for a long time, soon it start rising... I Have a P4 2.6 GHZ cashe 256 processor, a GIGABYTE 865PE MB, NVIDIA 6200 XFX VGA and 1 GB ram, am in a problem right now...my 6200 is crap,of course every1 knows that...and i need to get 6600GT, and where am from there is nothing AGP anymore...all the VGA cards r PCI express , and my gigabyte doesnt support PCI express, so the question is....should i upgrade my whole PC,meaning i get the core 2 duo... or should i just order a 6600GT AGP from the US ? PS : my only concern is gaming...i dont care abt maximum graphics i just like the game to run smooth n fast

I think I got jinxed or something... i was in the process of making a vid and my knee hit my flash drive and bent it and all my data, not to mention school data and other stuff is now stuck on a USB that doesn't work. I can't get the computer to regonize it because its not working so all my stuff is gone.

does anybody know how to recover the data on a USB and possibly put it into another USB even though the place to get it into a computer is now broken? idunno i am freaking out all my school work was on it... does anybody know what i can do. and until i get another USB which will probably be a while

Ok my battery dies fast like within 30 mins with a full charge. also when ever i plug it in will all of a sudden go to battery power while it is still pluged in. dont know whats wrong.

Hello
I have a laptop Acer Travelmate 2700 and one of the 2 screws to access the Hard Disk is worned out. I cannot remove this screw to replace the Hard Disk.
Since I need to upgrade my HD to a bigger one, I d like to know if someone has an idea about removing this worned out screw to access the HD without damaging the laptop?

Guys, please help! I use 2 HDD on my windows XP pc, 1 which holds the OS and all program files, and the other 1 all my Documents and Files. Ok, so I formatted my OS hdd today, because windows was giving me a hard time and slow loading times. So, I checked that I had all my documents on my 2nd Hard drive. Just to be extra sure that I dont accidentaly format my Document drive, I completely removed it during the format process. Everything went fine. When XP finished installing, I replaced the Data HDD and windows picked it up. Now, the 1 folder which contains all my stuff on the HDD, is gone! It shows that I used 180gb on that drive, but the files that are visible (and hidden) only make up 8gb. . . This is not good!

I know I linked this folder to windows, so that when you open My Computer and select My Documents, it goes to the other HDD folder. I don't know if this had anything to do with it! When I try to create a new folder with that name, windows says it already exists! HELP PLZ!

It will have to have a hole in the top to inject ink into using a refill kit.

My computer has had no problems before there was a blackout or power surge around my area and now my two CD drives aren't being recogonised, and also my computer is much much slower and sometimes the computer fans in my system fail to work. Does anyone know what could be the problem.

I purchased a MP4 player from the grey market , but when I try to connect it to my PC the response is that proper driver is not installed, I tried to install the drver from the CD provided but it doe not work .My OS is winXP and in normal course it should be able to detect the hardware but it does not . Is there some site from where I can download the same please help.

I hooked up a wireless mouse, (not sure if that caused the problem because I used it before), but when I returned to my computer about 5 minutes later, I had a display on it that said my computer just recovered from a serious problem. It said for me to send or not send error report. BIG MISTAKE. I shut off the computer instead of closing the messages first, I took NO action, just shut it off. NOW when I turn it on, I see the power button come on and hear the fan running but other than that, I HAVE NOTHING. I hooked the original mouse back up but still no monitor or keyboard, nothing other than seeing the lights flash for a second. ALSO, the only way I can turn the computer off now is with the power button ON THE BACK. The switch on front is not doing anything either. PLEASE- PLEASE HELP!. Did I burn out the processor or motherboard just because I shut it off without first clicking on the X on the error message? It is a Hewlett / Packard W/windows xp pro. THANK-YOU !!!!
