I have windows XP. I pretty much got everything redone. Now, my jump drive won't work. How do I get my computer to reconize my jump drive?

It sounds to me like you just have to visit windows.update.com and get all the updates that were lost after the reloading of your pc software and os. If that doesn't work check your device settings in control panel under the system icon for any device conflicts.

check the device manager:
right click on my computer and select manage
on the left side click on device manager
now is there anything with a yellow exclimation or red 'X'? is it the USB? if so you need to reinstall some drivers. for that you should find the disc your computer came with and it should have the drivers on it.
