I purchased a MP4 player from the grey market , but when I try to connect it to my PC the response is that proper driver is not installed, I tried to install the drver from the CD provided but it doe not work .My OS is winXP and in normal course it should be able to detect the hardware but it does not . Is there some site from where I can download the same please help.

I m also having a mp4 player when i used to connect it with my pc my Os (XP) automatically detects it as a mass storage device and install driver for it there is no need to install any additional driver. check your usb cable it must be faulty they bundle a low quality cable with the pack.
you can check the http://mympxplayer.org for more support and downloads.

it should have a usb port on the top or bottom of it. Did it come with a cord?

try the manufacturer's website.
they may have an updated driver.
But remember, gray market may be cheaper, but if it doesn't work, you're screwed.
