In a typewriter one can leave a half space between lines. Can it be done in the PC board? If yes, how?

Yes - go to up to "paragraph" in MSWord and change the spacing to one and a half (the same place you go to select double-spacing).

If you just want to do it for one line - the easiest thing would be just to switch to a font half the size as the preceding row and skip a line.
