Although I among many must move to MS Windows Vista OS software in the near future,
Is it right to keep my good processor 2G Centrino?
or
Should I replace it by a Dual Core in order to run Windows Vista?
If I maintain my 2G solo processor centrino, will it decently run?

The trial version looked crisp and clear but not the full version. Repair men say they tested computer and it's ok - they're blaming it on my monitor which worked like a dream until they installed Office full version. Changing settings only makes the fonts huge and jagged or too tiny to read. I find it hard to believe the problem is my monitor. I just bought the computer 2 months ago.

It's from a laptop, all the enclosures online seem to be defined only by a single measurement.

I have a cheap Dell that has only PCI slots. Is there ANY PCI cards that will run BF2? I have an ATI 9200, and it is "not compatible".

I've owned this game for over a year and would really like to play it sometime....

Of course there are thousands of AGP and PCI-E cards available, but not one single PCI card that will work???!!!

I can understand the need for vast amounts of storage space on databases and servers, but why do consumers want 500 to 1000 GB of storage for home use? I have a lowly 80GB on mine, and I have a lot of stuff, and still room for more. Ok, I admit I would not have to think about storage at all if I had 200GB, but by the time I use over 150 GB, My computer will be old and it will be time for a new one anyway. So basically I need someone to enlighten me on this: Do people buy 500GB drive and fill it with games, movies and mp3s within one or 2 years? I know it's possible, but is it common?

Each time I attempt to install a program onto my system, the windows install wizard begins to open, then simply closes; there is no error message or anything like that, rather, it just starts & then just stops. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem (other than just giving up and buying another computer, which I'm about to do)? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated; plus, if a suggestion helps me fix the problem, I'll select it as best answer.

Thanx! : )
