It's from a laptop, all the enclosures online seem to be defined only by a single measurement.

They sell laptop drive external enclosures with all the openings you need and a rugged aluminum exterior for about $35. Why bother to make one? Buy this, like from MicroCenter on Internet, and just pop the drive into it.

Laptops generally use 2.5" drives, and desktops 3.5", so you will want a 2.5" enclosure, like this:
