would I be able to run CounterStrike/HalfLife on it?

This card shares system ram, but it is a good video card - you can run all but the most demanding games without a problem.
The Radeon X700 card (found in a few laptops) has 128MB dedicated ram.

ATI. tops . and you can download the updates for your
ATI Radeon Xpress
from the Ati , update site .& it is easy as ,123 to install the updates
