Do I have to replace my 2G solo centrino processor by a dual-core of my 9300 Inspiron to run MS WV OS?

Although I among many must move to MS Windows Vista OS software in the near future,
Is it right to keep my good processor 2G Centrino?
or
Should I replace it by a Dual Core in order to run Windows Vista?
If I maintain my 2G solo processor centrino, will it decently run?

Keep the 2G solo proc. The core duo requires different energy parameters. I am running WV on a 1.6G celeronM with 1 GB of DDR memory and an 80GB hard drive. What I recomend is to max out the ram.
