I just recently got an epson v100..Its great if your working allot with photos..It even comes with a high rise lid to scan 3d objects..and you can scan negatives too...and it only cost 99.00 at best buy.

do not just buy a scanner, get a all in one, lexmark has good ones for cheap and last along time, check you wallmart store, this way you can print scan and copy from one machine and do lots of other stuff with the extra software.

i bought an all-in-one brother for about a hundred dollars. scan, print, copy, fax, photo-scan and phto-print, and some other stuff.it comes with software and instructioins in a book, and better instructions in pdf.
