A customer bought a Sprint S620 card. When it is inserted into the PCMCIA slot of his Dell Inspirion 6000 with Win XP, the computer immediately freezes up and requires a hard reboot. I have replaced the entire system board (including PCMCIA slot) and problem persists. User has tried this same card in another Dell Inspirion 6000 and it works OK. User brought card back to Sprint and they replaced it. Same problem. User reinstalled Windows XP, but same problem persists. Dell is claiming this is a software or non-Dell hardware issue. Sprint is claiming this is a Dell issue. Neither party is offering anymore help. The user is past his 30 day refund period and has never been able to use this card successfully. What must he do to solve this problem?

My Del is a few months old. It has the printer all in one. There is a way to fax through the printer. Can you help me to know if I can automatically use it now, or do I need to do/have something else to use it? Thanks.

I'm planning to buy a laptop for home use. I've narrowed it down to 2 models both about the same price.

One laptop has a Core Duo T2300E Processor 1.66GHz; 512MB RAM; while the other has a Pentium M Processor 760 (2GHz); 512MB RAM.

Which one is better? Faster? Thanks.

this is my computer so i know that there are no parents on here. i am 19 and i also don't live with them. i have no firewalls and i used this about a month ago to see cams... now fro some odd reason it won't let me. it is a pc and not a mac. and i would appreciate it if the people that answer this actually know what they were talking about and not some loser who thinks he knows just to get points.

When I bough my last laptop, it was my understanding that the IBM Thinkpads had the best quality keyboards. I had a dell before that and hated the keyboard. Who has the best quality keyboards now in terms of tactile feel, ergonomics, ease of use, etc. for extended typing and editing documents? Any particular models? I'm looking for something in the lightweight portable category -- not a giganto desktop replacement. Preferably not too expensive.

Here is the Gateway M275 (Tablet PC)

(This is an Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) Link/File)

http://content.gateway.com/www.gateway.com/work/pdf/products/M275.pdf

The MacBook Pro:

(Sorry I wish it were a bit more organized and straight to the point like the Gateway's configuration)

I'm buying them at the same price from my retailer, so money is not a problem.

Thanks a lot for your time and effort!
Much appreciated!

My power cord has frayed at the top bend (just before the input into the computer) and I have to bend and hold it to keep power going into the computer. This has happened to me repeatedly with other power cords on other computers. Is there anything I might be doing to cause this breakage or are there any known problems with this in Dell power cords?

I just purchased a dell with a Intel® Celeron® D Processor 325 (2.53 GHz, 533 FSB) and was wondering if anyone else had this kind of processor. I am used to Pentium IIII's but this is more affordable.
