It's not the sound card that matters. You need the right software. You should be able to find something out at http://www.download.com

with a creative sound card you can record what you hear, and if you get the xfi edition you can even up grade the audio quality once you have recorded it

Doesn't matter what sound card you need to record, I record with my onboard 8 channel sound :)
