I would like to know if it is possible to form a network between the two computers and exchange files without problems?

Thanks.

I see strong signals in "Wireless network connection" window, but I cannot connect to none of them.
I used to use my belkin one or steal another one when mine was not strong, and i had no problem. However, since yesterday, when I click "connect", it doesn't connect. There is a red X mark on the icon, and it doesn't even try to acquire ip or something. If I choose "repair", it ends up with saying "cannot connect to wireless." and if I double-click "connect", it seems to process something, and then disappears. I turned on and off the window firewall and tried everything, but it doens't seem to work ever. Once or twice a day, it automatically connects to one of available networks, but it doesn't last long. Is it because of interferance?

Does anyone know why this suddenly happened and how to fix it?

I have a computer connected to a wireless router via a 10/100 cable, and I use a laptop with a wireless card to connect to the internet, all of this is currently working.
Now what I want to do if I can is...... I have another computer that I want to use in a location that is impossable to run a 10/100 cable (it is within 150 feet of the other router) and I have another wireless router that I am not currently using, can I some how plug that computer into the spare router with the 10/100 cable, and get that router to connect to my other working router via wireless. I am using Win XP SP2 home on all the computers, and both routers are 10/00 and wireless and both routers do work.

I tried but I cannot change the security from the MAC Address security (where u manually enter it in from the computer) to WEP. I need WEP because my DS Uses it. Also, is there any way that I can create a custom Password for the WEP? Best and thorough guide will get 5 stars. Can someone write me a step by step. Also, how do I connect my Macbook using the WEP?
Thanks

I Installed vista this morning and at first i was able to connect to the internet fine, but after i rebooted the computer, i wasn't able to connect to the internet at all. It says i am "connected" but whenever i start up firefox or IE, all i get is a blank page. I use an ethernet cable so i dont see why it can't connect to the internet. They aren't damaged or anything. It has my computer connected to "home" and then that to "internet" but i can't go on any websites for help. Im using my laptop to see if anyone has some suggestions on how to fix this.
thanks-

I have a wireless linksys router setup and the distance is far away from my computer. I can't move my computer closer but I would like the connection to work better, page loading is slow right now. Should I create a wireless bridge? Get another router and connect it to the ethernet port on my pc and have it connect to router #1? I heard about the canasta but I dont have a network card that has an external attenna and I dont want to open up my laptop. Can I buy a better network card and use that instead? I have a Broadcom 802.11 b/g WLAN driver 3.100.65.1
A good answer gets 10 points thanks a lot.

Im having this annoying issue with my PS3 Network connection.

I'm using a Belkin Wireless G Range Expander to expand the wireless covverage of the computer that my Ps3 is connected to. The problem is, when I connect to the range expander from my Ps3, the connection alternates from 100% connectivity to 0% every minute.

I'm about to switch to verizon DSL and I know I need a wireless router. Can someone explain me what would be better, to buy a wireless router from verizon or buy one myself. Also, If I buy one myself, what kind of wireless router is the best for verizon DSL, which could get me the best performance and speed. If possible, please be specific on what type of wireless router it is.

I use cable for my internet service. The router I use was mfg in January 03, which I believe is slow compared with current routers, It is hooked to my XP desk computer and also used for my wirelessWindows 98 Laptop. Everything works OK but I just wonder if a new router and card would be sufficiently faster to make the change worthwhile. If you suggest an update, please provide sufficient info for me to specify when I buy a new one.
