I have an old PC with Win98 on a FAT32 drive, and another PC with WinXP on a NTFS drive.

I would like to know if it is possible to form a network between the two computers and exchange files without problems?

Thanks.

It is possible to exchange the files over network without problem. The underlying filesystem does not matter as long as the file sharing is configured correctly.

I can't remember for sure but I think if you're going to share files from Fat32 to the NTFS system it'll be okay, but if you share NTFS files on the FAT32 system they won't show up.

You might double check it..

There will be no problems whatsoever, filesystem format has nothing to do with sharing resources between computers. Filesystem format is a feature of the disk, you can share it out to virtually any operating system with the right software.
