everyting works fine in remote desktop, i can get to cotrol another pc from the other room , but i would like know know if its possible to have two computers on at the same time with the same name. when one pc is logged on , i use the second pc and log on with the same user name to view the first pc on my second in remote desktop, the the first computer logs off itself because of me logging on to the second pc. i want to keep both looged on with the same name at the same time

You can, but you have to have different accounts to log into. You cant log into the same account from two different places...

If I am understanding you correctly you have 2 computers with 2 identical usernames and passwords, If you go to each computer and login locally everything works like it should you then try to remote desktop from one pc to the other with the identical username it will be back at the ctrl+alt+delete screen? You aren't going to be able to do it like that follow the below selection or use something like vnc to accomplish what your looking to do.

Simple answer - Cannot be done - When using Remote Desktop, it will log off whatever user is currently logged onto that machine - or if its the same username - The computer will look as though it locked...
