I see strong signals in "Wireless network connection" window, but I cannot connect to none of them.
I used to use my belkin one or steal another one when mine was not strong, and i had no problem. However, since yesterday, when I click "connect", it doesn't connect. There is a red X mark on the icon, and it doesn't even try to acquire ip or something. If I choose "repair", it ends up with saying "cannot connect to wireless." and if I double-click "connect", it seems to process something, and then disappears. I turned on and off the window firewall and tried everything, but it doens't seem to work ever. Once or twice a day, it automatically connects to one of available networks, but it doesn't last long. Is it because of interferance?

Does anyone know why this suddenly happened and how to fix it?

well all i can say is that i used to steal or "hawk" internet myself and it sucks for sure cuase you never get a steady signal... you probably have interference problems such as your microwave, wireless phone ( when you or someone else uses it ) or becuase of the place your in someone else is doing the following as stated above.. if your not hawking then i would suggest to go to hard wired instead of wireless and you shouldnt have any problems, just buy a 50 foot lan cable and hook it up to your pc

Your router manufacturing company will help you with this problem. Mine for instance is Linksys and they have free tech support 24/7. I know of none who do not has this service. Get online to get their phone number, or your users manual that came with router and call them up. You will be glad you did. Good luck.

Uninstall and reinstall your wireless device. If possible use the original disk that came with it.
