Either your ISP blocks it or your router has that port blocked. To check if your ISP blocks it, type in "(ISPName) block limewire" in google and see if it turns up any results. If you do have a router or like, Windows Firewall, you'll have to read their respective help files for instructions. If you type in http://192.168.1.1/ in your browser and are prompted for a password then you have a router :)

Goto file>connect in limewire

if it's already on connect try disconnecting it and than connect

But, It does this to me.

It could be a firewall or your highspeed is just being slow, it happens.

Are you using any firewall or router? If you're using Windows XP or Vista, most likely it has something to do with your windows firewall. I have also previously had trouble with router port forwarding when using routers ---> If you are using a router this is what you'll need to do to help lime wire.
