A lot of people in my school have gotten angry that our school has blocked every website (Even the educational websites which is stupid) . So they bring a flash drive to school and plug it into the computer and it loads some program to allow them to visit any website they wish. I now have a flash drive of my own and I was wondering what program, script, what ever they might be using, how does it work?, because I too wish to visit my favorite websites(which of course are blocked).

This Malware box popped up in my screen and it offered to remove viruses from my computer. Supposedly, Malware found viruses in some of my files, but when Malware asked my if I wanted the viruses removed, I canceled the whole operation because I am not sure of the good intentions of this program. Please tell me if you know anything about it.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L25-1215 which currantly has a Intel(R) Celeron(R) M processor which runs at 1.5GHz but only one core. I just upgraded to Vista, upgraded the RAM from 256mb to 2GB, but the CPU runs at 100% even under light loads of work. Could I do the install myself with some decent instructions? Or would I need to take it to an expert?

I tried to download internet explorer 7 because i accidently removed it from my computer, it downloads and then tells me to restart my computer so i did and then nothing else happens it doesn't finish downloading and there is no icon for it, i don't know what to do.

I want to be able to access Wi-Fi at home on my iPod Touch.

All I have is a 2Wire DSL Router (2700HG-B) from SBC, I know that I'll need a wireless router if I want to get a hold of Wi-Fi on my iPod but I'm not really sure how wireless set up works...

Do I buy the wireless router and connect it to my 2Wire modem
and enter in all of the details needed or do I need to buy a wireless adapter as well?

I only need the wireless router to access wifi on my iPod, all of my other computers are connected to the internet via ethernet cables.

I'm also kind of fuzzy on which kind of wireless router to buy...

Hey everyone, yesterday my laptop's charger (toshiba) was working just fine untill it suddenly started making weird noise and cutting off, untill it finally stopped working completely. Since i cant live 15 minutes without my laptop as soon as my battery ran out i ran across the house looking for charger's that fit, & my HP Charger fit & my laptop charged normaly. BUT my brother made me unplug it & said this will mess up my laptop. im not sure what he was saying but it has something to do with the info he read off the charger. So the question is: is it safe to use my HP charger on my Toshiba laptop?

I have a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Video Card with 128 Mb. The max res is 2048x1536 (supposedly). I just got an HP w2207. How do I setup the video to go to the HP optimum res of 1680x1050. The video setting seems to be maxed out at 1280x960. I'm using DVI connections.
