not sure if i would take it with me when i travel or not, but i know that a portable one would be better for that, but would it hurt any external hd if i take it along?

For some time I have had problems copying text from web sites into Word. For example, when I try to copy and paste even the "print" version of a New York Times article into Word, I get a message saying there has been an "error" and Word "needs to close". The same happens to other web source texts. I can copy these onto my clipboard, and from there to Word, but why can't I copy and paste such texts directly into Word?

Hi, i am building computers for people. I have one problem though. How do i install the os and the drivers like HP and Dell. How do you make it so when the customer turns the computer on for the first time the OS and all the other applications install with no disck?

I'm in a dorm and I want a wireless router for me and couple of my friends using the university's wired connection. We can get in trouble if someone detects it and reports it. I recently discovered that my very powerful custom made computer had a bootleg Windows XP Pro installed. I took it to professionals who installed a proper copy of XP Pro. They saved all the data. Now I am trying to use the Office Suite and I don't know how to reinstall Word or any of the rest. Is there a techy who knows how to do this?

I signed up to ebay added my bank details i verified my phone number as ebay called me i entered the pin i entered all my details correct i listed 4 things for sale 2 pc,s 1 mobile phone & 1 handy cam they removed my 2 pcs and my handy cam from sale their reson is that my phone number is not verified i contacted them they did not directly reply to my original email they just gave me some crap about they can understand if i dont want to give me details out and ask me to give my work number. They did not and still have not taken my mobile phone down from sale.

What is their game? theres nothing i can do that i already have not done and they are being incompetent i spend days waiting for their replys which prove to be unhelpfull.
They where quick enough to take my money for listing the items.

What can i do. There is no option for reverifying my number.
There is no live help as its ebay uk and they have no contact number.

Its disgusting

My roomate screwed up my computer and took the disk and manuals. I need the set up instructions and the driver for this model. By the way Linksys does not have this driver for download on their website. Any help would be appreciated. If you have the quick reference guide that would be helpful as well. Since the manual they have for download does not include this. Thanks again!

This is horrible. This is a disaster!

Ok, I was working on editing several music sets, and recordings for this very large music company, and I was really feeling tired.

So I took a short nap, and left my MacBook Pro in sleep mode.

The next thing I knew, the fire detector was going off, and there was a lot of steam coming from my desk. Luckily, I stuffed my blanked over it, and smothered it.

Now my MacBook Pro has a melted keyboard, and it won't turn on. It appears that the hard drive is very damaged.

My stuff is suppose to be due tomorrow! And now my laptop is dead. This is a very important project, and to think it's all gone would be BAD.

What do I do now? Is there anything I can do before tomorrow?

I have a HP notebook PC. My older brother downloaded limewire about half a year ago. But this is the real problem. My friend told me that limewire messed up his computer, and it shut-down by itself.

Does limewire do any harmful things to your comp/ laptop? Does it make it slower than usual? Please answer!
