Does it have to be a Mac compatible screen? How does it hook up? The Mac works great - but the screen is super small for designing.

my computer is auto shutting down because I deleted the file of a program without uninstalling. but that program is still in my computer and when i tried to uninstall it, it says that "there is no file or directory to uninstall this program". so how should i solve this problem except reformatting my computer.

OK, I have a friend that did not activate there XP. When they login, they get "windows has not been activated click Yes/No to activate now". If you press yes/no it restarts, and you get the same thing.

You can boot to safe mode but only safe mode, no Safe mode with networking etc.

Is there a way to repair this in safe mode? Any help would be fine, I am hoping that I will not have to reformat.

I move around a lot and do not have a laptop. Apart from emailing word documents to myself is there a simple way I can store word documents on the internet? (FREE) Preferably in a way that I can edit the documents and it is relatively private ie it wont come up on any old google search.

Hi, I have just put together a computer from some old components I had and when it starts up all the fans come on and i can hear the hard disks beginning to spin but there is no display on the monitor. If I remove the video card or ram it doesn't beep at all which I would expect.

the computer starts up with a windows screen saying installing windows xp once it is all installed the screen goes black then opens a blue screen with a warning message. BAD-POOL-CALLER
technical information:

it then restarts and does this all over again i have tried using the reinstall OS disc but nothing happens also tried the reboot disc what is wrong and how do i fix it.

computer is a dell dimension but the warranty has run out.

Ok so for a while we had Paint on our desktop, if i can remember correctly I belive we got it there by dragging and dropping it instead of clicking on it and selecting the option. Anyways, I woke up this morning hoping to try and work on something using that program and the icon is no longer there. It is not in my recycling bin either and I can't find it in the start menu. I know it is still installed on my computer because when I right click on an image and select edit, it takes me to paint, but they are no icons to click on that will allow me to just bring it up the regular way starting a new project. I tried doing a search on my computer and nothing comes up, I checked the add and remove list to see if it was there and it's not, and I have been trying to manually find it in the files and folders on my computer and still have no luck. Does anyone know what happened and how to get it back into the start menu???? Thank you so much, I am really starting to get frustrated here!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a MacBook. Periodically I save my files on a memory stick. However I find it difficult to avoid duplicating files I've already saved, and I'm always loath to delete old files in case they're gone for ever. Anyone got a good system that works for them?

There's this game that fits all the requirements listed on the box, but when I install it, it doesn't play.
After installing, I turn it on, and the MS-DOS opens, and after that the game screen, and then it goes black. In a moment there's the error sound, and the screen is black eternally. I waited 1 hour, and then pressed enter, when I got tired of waiting. There the screen turns white, and then something turns on that looks like the game but it closes and a screen pops up that there was an error and it has to close...?

I defragmented the disk, but it still doesn't work...

Does someone know what's wrong?

I have 11.94 gigas of memory left?
