What monitor is compatible for my iMac G4?

Question

Does it have to be a Mac compatible screen? How does it hook up? The Mac works great - but the screen is super small for designing.

Apparently you can use VGA or S-video and Composite if you have one of the adapters (about 3/4 way down page).
